Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 16, 2026

1. Introduction

CustomWare ("we," "us," or "our") operates BuildOurHome. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Profile picture/avatar (if provided)
  • OAuth provider data (from Google when you sign in with Google)

Project Data

When you use the Service, we store your projects, including 3D building designs, floor plans, and associated metadata.

AI Feature Inputs and Outputs

When you choose to use an AI feature, the relevant rendered view of your design is sent to our AI providers to produce a restyled image or video. We store the resulting outputs so you can access them in your projects.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage and performance data through our hosting provider to help us keep the Service reliable and improve it over time.

  • Provide and maintain your account
  • Store and sync your projects across devices
  • Provide AI features when you request them
  • Improve our services based on usage patterns
  • Send optional email notifications about new features and updates (you can opt out)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Ensure platform security and prevent abuse

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure: account and project metadata in a Cloudflare D1 database, and image and video assets in Cloudflare R2 storage. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

  • Google — OAuth authentication for sign-in
  • AI providers (Replicate and Google) — optional image restyling and video generation

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing its handling of your data.
